WHAT

Please join us for a special evening featuring locally produced, PBS national award-winning films at Palmer Ridge High School in Monument, Colorado.

Highlights of the event include:

1. Film Screening: Two short films produced by the Colorado-based Youth Documentary Academy in Colorado Springs: I CHOOSE YOU and AFTER WAR, films about adoption, fostering, PTSD, and family life. Films were chosen by a commitee of students in Monument reflecting unique perspectives on the challenges young people face today and highlight stories of resilience and hope.

2.Panel Discussion: Following the screening is a panel featuring experts in mental health, educators, and students. This will be an opportunity to delve deeper into the themes explored in the films and engage in meaningful conversations.

3.Conversation: We invite all attendees to participate in open and honest conversations about mental health topics, sharing personal experiences, insights, and questions in a supportive and welcoming environment.

4. Dinner: Light dinner will be provided before the screening, offering a chance for attendees to connect prior to the event.

5. Raffle Prizes: As a token of appreciation for your participation, raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the event.

Please RSVP by April 23 to secure your spot. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.

We look forward to welcoming you to this meaningful event and fostering greater understanding and support for mental wellness and intergenerational conversations.
