Affirming Parents & Allies Group-December Cookie Exchange!

You will be provided with a locally curated handbook to reference between sessions, along with ongoing support from group members. Training topics include how to discuss LGBTQ identity with your child, where to find education about LGBTQ identities and issues, and how to stand up for your LGBTQ child.

This group is dedicated to supporting parents, families, and teachers of LGBTQIA young people by answering their questions and providing resources and education around queer and trans issues. Supportive actions taken by parents and caregivers were associated with lower suicide risk among LGBTQ youth.
