Lokiten Behavioral Health is an outpatient mental health organization that offers psychiatry and therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. They also provide mental health only Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for adolescents and adults to round out a comprehensive outpatient mental health program. Psychiatry services are provided for medication management of both adults and pediatric patients from ages 4 – 65. Each group or “cohort” will have 10-12 individuals who will program for 8-12 weeks. Outcome measure are used to help both the therapist and the individual determine treatment progress and that the treatment goals are being achieved.
Therapy services are provided to adolescent and adults from ages 8 – 65 through individual, couples, and family counseling. Both IOP programs utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) along with experiential therapies to help clients with understanding thoughts, emotional regulation, coping strategies, interpersonal skills or conflict resolution. IOP is an 8-week program that is conducted 3 hours a day, 3 days a week.
